Jessica Charles (far left)- Jessica is a Temple University grad where she majored in Psychology. She is now persuing her MD in addition to working with The Hype and SIHLE. Jess is motivated in continuing her education and following her dreams.
Jess has an energetic spirit and is fun to be around. She knows how to have a good time and will keep you laughing!

Vanessa R. Altidor (left)– Vanessa is a recent graduate of Temple University’s Public Health program hopes to work in health education. She is a fashionista who never misses a beat with her stylish outfits. With her friendliness and upbeat personality, Vanessa is an amazing person to be around. Vanessa is also a team member of Community PROMISE, a community level HIV/STD prevention & awareness program centered on the youth in Philadelphia zip codes 19121 & 19122.
Blush (right)– Blush really does it all. She is a make-up artist, teacher, and works in dermatology in Society Hill. On top of that she owns her own business, Blush and Brushes. Blush is the picture of sucess and always offers the best advice! She is charismatic, energetic, and kind.
Blush hosts the Current Events segment on The Hype. She keeps everyone up-to-date on what’s going on in the world! Blush also works with Community PROMISE.
Kourtney (far right)– Kourtney is a graduate of Penn State University. She is extremely vocal on social issues affecting the black community, mirrored in her role as the president of the Penn State Chapter of the NAACP. Kourtney is always there to offer “big sister” advice and can show you what fiercely beat face is supposed to look like.
Kourtney currently works as a Data Anaylst for The Public Health Management Corporation, in addition to working with Community PROMISE and The Hype.
