Twitter Activism is Spreading the Word About Ferguson, MO

The riots in Ferguson have reached 8 days and there are no signs of it stopping until justice for Michael Brown is served. Brown was shot six times, twice in the head, by police officer Darren Wilson on August 9, 2014. Since the protests have started, the Ferguson Police Department has taken extreme measures to assault the civilians that have come together in peaceful protest and has violated the first amendment rights of journalists. Tear gas has been thrown at crowds of protestors, including children. While conditions are escalating, people all over twitter are spreading the word about the inhumane activity that has been taking place in Ferguson, MO.
